Mara | The Ark Exodus

Kicking things off this week with more Ark Exodus art!

This is Mara, the main character of our new project, a story Franco and I have been carefully building behind the scenes. She’s more than just a design, she carries the themes, struggles, and spirit of the entire world we’re creating.

I wanted her to feel fierce yet vulnerable, rooted in tradition but driven toward change. Every line in her silhouette, every choice in her costume, is tied to her journey.

“Energetic seeker of the truth”

Born on a isolated rural town on the outskirts of Esteria, Mara was protected and raised by her grandmother who taught her the code of their people, when tragedy struck and forced them to seek refugee on Merid, one of Theias most promising cities, where they find a new life and settle. As a teenager Mara ventures into a new phase of her life working as a delivery courier for SME (South Merid Exports), one of the most challenging and dangerous jobs in Theia.
